its been a while since my last entry, simply because i have been too busy (can you imagine?) to do this..but I will correct that from now on.

I did a fashion show for Co-op event run by www.daisygreenmagazine.co.uk and once again had privilege to have the most loveliest models including fantastic Clarisse! Fresh pics from this show will follow but here is a glimpse of her in golden Halston style dress, from last show i did (xmas show 2009).
I also had the most enjoyable and long holiday in Sydney Australia couple months ago and spent time browsing local charity and vintage shops. Will write proper VINTAGE SHOPPING IN SYDNEY guide soon..watch this space! but here are some pics as a taster! oh, did i mention fairytale like golden glitter shoes i found…among dozen other good findings. Next time ill fly with empty suitcases!

There is a Junk Drawer display at the “The Opportunity Shop” in Hyde Park.
The shop is a temporary experimental project space for art in the urban community. It is located in a former Hollywood Video store.
The Junk Drawer set-up was created almost entirely out of stuff found at the space: sets of drawer, and display racks that were previously used for DVD’s. Zines are for sale, and there’s a drawer full of odds and ends you can donate to, or trade from. It is within the indoor yard sale area, which like a thrift store with plenty of items for sale.
The space contains an expanding collection of art as well as classes and talks. See the website for more Op Shop. It is open through the month of April, so don’t miss it!

description: the book in the year of the Bulls is about the 1995 bulls and it has writer/ author Rick Talender following the bulls after future haller Michael Jordan leaves the NBA to play baseball for the Chicago white socks. The book goes into telling about the starting 5 of the 1996 Chicago bulls from Michael Jordan, Luc Longly, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, and Scottie Pippen.  Rick follows the whole team from drafts to trades and goes on the road with them and writes about everything they do in the game. He writes about the troubles that Micheal and Dennis went through up to playing  for the Bulls. Dennis Rodman went from Detroit Pistons to the 76ers. Then had a nerviase brake down when his wife left him, he shaved his head and died it blonde, then got piercing and tattos all over his body.the 76ers traded him to the bulls because he was skipping out of pratices and did not call the coachs. Then the book talks about micheals father being murderd and him leave basketball to play baseball because he thought he had accomplished everything in basketball.  Then after not being good at baseball he went back to the bulls after a bad season they made the playoffs but did not do so well.

This squirrel has found a place it can always get some food from. It seems that it’s become a good buddy with the owner of the property. The only thing it should be aware of is the cat!

For the last few years, Lexus has been taking part in the Milan Design Week by creating a unique exhibit in collaboration with an artist. Last year, it was the Elastic Diamond with nendo, and this year Lexus has partnered with Huzimoto Takeshi, one of Japan’s up & coming architects, to create Crystallized Wind, or more simply, a fully transparent LFA.

The Delicate, Plummeting Bodies

A great cry went up from the stockyards and
slaughterhouses, and Death, tired of complaint
and constant abuse, withdrew to his underground garage.
He was still young and his work was a torment.
All over, their power cut, people stalled like street cars.
Their gravity taken away, they began to float.
Without buoyancy, they began to sink. Each person
became a single darkened room. The small hand
pressed firmly against the small of their backs
was suddenly gone and people swirled to a halt
like petals fallen from a flower. Why hurry?
Why get out of bed? People got off subways,
on subways, off subways all at the same stop.
Everywhere clocks languished in antique shops
as their hands composed themselves in sleep.
Without time and decay, people grew less beautiful.
They stopped eating and began to study their feet.
They stopped sleeping and spent weeks following stray dogs.
The first to react were remnants of the church.
They falsified miracles: displayed priests posing
as corpses until finally they sneezed or grew lonely.
Then governments called special elections to choose those
to join the ranks of the volunteer dead: unhappy people
forced to sit in straight chairs for weeks at a time.
Interest soon dwindled. Then the army seized power
and soldiers ran through the street dabbling the living
with red paint. You’re dead, they said. Maybe
tomorrow, people answered, today we’re just breathing:
look at the sky, look at the color of the grass.
For without Death each color had grown brighter,
At last a committee of businessmen met together,
because with Death gone money had no value.
They went to where Death was waiting in a white room,
and he sat on the floor and looked like a small boy
with pale blond hair and eyes the color of clear water.
In his lap was a red ball heavy with the absence of life.
The businessmen flattered him. We will make you king,
they said. I am king already, Death answered. We will
print your likeness on all the money of the world.
It is there already, Death answered. We adore you
and will not live without you, the businessmen said.
Death said, I will consider your offer.
