Japan nsk bearings announced the development of new small and lightweight motorcycle brake system with ball screw. In the motorcycle-wire braking system (Brake By Wire System), using the motor of the rotary motion into linear movement, to promote the use of screw-axis hydraulic piston resulting structure. Improved reliability, with the CVT used in motorcycles than 270g ball screw, weight reduction of about 70% to 70g.
The company has developed a thread can not use slot (Thread Groove) shallowing of the structure to prevent thread groove ball into areas outside the lead ball screw lock. Will allow the ball through the back of the original thread slot cycle parts – inserts into the resin material from metal, improved reliability and durability. In addition to the inserts can be realized small-block ball screws, eliminating the need for inserts fixed blocks, also used directly to promote the use of screw-axis structure of the piston, push the piston without the use of putting in order to achieve a small, light quantified. Moreover, in addition to through the realization of a small lightweight, significantly reducing the inertia, he also made use of low-friction ball screw performance, improved responsiveness.

Designer hyperrealist Eric Zener draws beautiful oil painting. Its main theme – water, swimmers, air bubbles in the water, at least – beaches and just people. Sometimes Eric uses a mixed technique and then its no less remarkable photos can not be distinguished from the paintings

Hooray for Carbuncles!

October 20th, 2009

Just completed these magazine spreads promoting the ‘warts’ on the british landscape in brutalist architecture.

Although many see them as unsightly, there’s so much sociological history behind these structures – promoting rehabilition and growth in Britain’s post-war period.

Off We Go!!!

September 28th, 2009

Off of:

- artificial food colors
- artificial flavoring
- msg
- foods containing natural salycilates (apples, grapes, tomatoes – these will be the hardest to do without)

We are going back ON the Feingold Program.

We’ve done it before, we shall do it again.

I have to keep my eyes on the prize.  Rowdy’s behavior and attention span will be much improved in a few days over what it’s been these last (embarrassed to say) ? years.

Right now I need to focus on meal planning, including snacks.  This is not that difficult a change to manage.  I already cook most everything from scratch.  I’m awfully glad that habit is already in place.

Also, more and more “convenience foods” are on the “approved foods” list.  Fritos comes to mind.  Some ice creams.  Hill Country Fare Chocolate Chips.  (That is very important!)

We made the commitment to do this just yesterday.  I didn’t get any rest at all last night.  I thought about food all night long.  Not in a hungry, wish I had a cookie kind of way, but just re-programming my brain.

It may take a while to just really internalize the fact that we won’t be having tomato sauce on our spaghetti or chili powder in our beans.  Simple stuff, there are alternatives, other foods to eat, but those are two things we have eaten every week for a long time.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love cheese. I will pull cheese out of the fridge and eat slices plain or with crackers. One of my favorite snacks is, hands down, colby cheese with crisp apples. For this recipe, I chose a creamy, yet slightly tangy Havarti cheese atop juicy tomatoes and balsamic marinated chicken breasts. This recipe takes little time and is bursting with flavor. Try this with some nice smoky bacon–you will die!Cheesy chicken and tomato

Balsamic Marinade

1/2 c. Balsamic Vinegar

1/4 c. olive or grapeseed oil

4 cloves garlic, finely minced

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/4 tsp. of each: thyme, oregano, and basil; or 1 tsp. of an Italian Season spice blend

1 lb. of chicken breasts, washed and cut into strips. Chicken tenders would be a great

substitute.

Throw this all into a bag and let it sit all day. Marinate for at least a couple of  hours. I will put this together while I am waiting for my coffee to brew in the morning. It just works better for me.

When you are ready to cook the chicken, preheat a heavy skillet at medium heat, and add a tiny bit of oil. Place the whole chicken pieces in the hot pan, and let it sit. Do not attempt to play around with the chicken or check it until at least 5-7 minutes have passed. You want a nice crusty finish. That crust has loads of flavor as a result of the balsamic vinegar caramelizing. After about 5-7 minutes have passed, check the chicken and turn it. Let it cook on the other side for about the same amount of time. Your chicken should be cooked through after this process. The next step is simply heating the tomatoes and melting the cheese.

While the chicken is cooking, preheat your broiler, and start slicing the tomatoes super thin, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Havarti is quite creamy and is hard to shred. I just tear it up into pieces and place on the chicken.

Place the pieces of chicken in an oven proof dish, or, if you have an oven proof skillet, leave the chicken in that pan, and place the tomatoes and cheese over it. Broil it, keeping an eye on that cheese. It wont be more than 5 minutes.

As the online world still defies the credit crunch and continues to show success stories like youtube, more and more people want to get in. Instead of thinking of a brand new idea, many are going towards buying up smaller sites and building a portfolio network to develop and then, most likely, to keep the ones that are doing well and sell the rest.

This can be excellent to have, for example about 20 different websites which don’t require a lot of attention, just let them build themselves up and sell if need be for a profit. There are many examples of these, as new web entreprueners decide to have their own media company set up before having any properties.

But is it really worth it? Yes, sure, you’ll feel good having 20 different websites, some may be giving you a steady income even. But trust me, without having proper passion for a website, or indeed any other, business, it is most likely to decline and fail.
